We recently took the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 through the twists and turns of the Chianti region. A fun bike, it immediately amazed us with its incredible lightness and maneuverability.
We created our new aerodynamic protection line, which received top marks during testing, to improve the bike’s few weak points.
The idea was to fair the Himalayan as much as possible, providing greater protection for the rider.
We therefore designed a “fairing” that was higher than the original, but also more enveloping on the headlight, which would functionally and aesthetically connect with the new side panels positioned to cover the tubular sections on the sides.
1️⃣ Larger Transparent Windshield (Touring Model): Higher than the original, it guarantees optimal wind protection and perfect visibility. During the test, it deflected air excellently, without generating annoying turbulence on the helmet. The mounting kit (included) contains a sturdy support bracket that increases stability and all the necessary mounting screws.
2️⃣ Larger Dark Smoke Semi-Transparent Windshield (Touring Model): Same dimensions and aerodynamic protection as the clear version, but with a dark, aggressive look that transforms the aesthetics of the bike.
3️⃣ Additional Protection Side Panels (Semi-Transparent Dark Smoke): Side deflectors for the fairing. Combined with the windshield, they create a truly effective “bubble” of protection while riding, diverting air away from the legs and torso. Mounting kit included.
The combination of the larger windshield and the side protections significantly changes the riding experience, making the Himalayan ready to rack up the miles effortlessly.
